Exporting Octave Band Data From NoiseTools

Modified on Tue, 28 Nov, 2023 at 9:58 AM

It may be useful to export the 1:1 or 1:3 octave band time history data into a spreadsheet such as Excel to allow for further processing.

An example would be to find the highest level at any time during the measurement from the time history data.

To export the frequency band time history data, open a measurement and click on the detail tab on the right-hand side of the window.

To load the time history data, click on the “Load Octave Time History” or the “Load Third Octave Time History” buttons to load the appropriate information.

When the data has loaded, right-click on the table and select Export Table option and choose a location for the file. The recommended file format is CSV which can be loaded into any version of Microsoft Excel.
