Creating People, Places and Projects for Measurements in NoiseTools

Measurements within the NoiseTools database can be tagged to a Person, a Place or a Project and this information used to sort and group measurements, ready for reporting.

These tags can be assigned at download or by editing the assigned tags within the measurement.

To create new tags, use the New Place, New Person or New Project buttons at the bottom of the measurement panel.


Create Place

The following information can be added to a new Place: Name, Building, Site, Notes and Image. Images can be added as PNG or JPEG.


Create Person

The following information can be added to a new Person: ID Number, First Name(s), Last Name, Department, Notes, Image. Images can be added as PNG or JPEG.


Create Project

The following information can be added to a new Project: Name, Sub-Project of, Notes, Images. Projects can be added as Sub-Projects of an existing Project. Use the pull-down list to choose an existing parent Project. Images can be added as PNG or JPEG.
