Cirrus Research noise measurement instruments use a range of different battery technology to provide internal power.

Alkaline Batteries
AA, AAA and PP3 Alkaline batteries are used in a majority of handheld sound level meters, acoustic calibrators and accessories.
NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) Batteries
NiMH batteries are used in the doseBadge (CR:100A, CR:100B, CR:110A, CR:110AIS, CR:112A, CR:112AIS and CR:120A) noise dosimeters.
The MK:4 (CR:100A, CR:100B, CR:110A, CR:110AIS, CR:112A, CR:112AIS) versions use a set of Rechargeable Ni-MH Button cells.
The CR:120A doseBadge5 uses a set of AAA NiMH batteries.
The ZE:100 battery pack uses a set of 16 D-Type NiMH Cells.
Lithium Batteries
The RC:101A and RC:199 Keyfob remote controls use a single non-rechargeable CR2032 Lithium primary button cell.
The CR:260 and CR:800 (all versions) sound level meters use a single, non-rechargeable CR2032 Lithium primary button cell.
